Hello again, I’m Avinto, and in this section, we’ll explore Alternating Current (AC). Unlike direct current (DC), AC reverses direction periodically, and this unique behavior is used in most electrical power systems. We’ll measure AC using special instruments, calculate the mean and r.m.s. values of AC voltage and current, and analyze how AC behaves when it flows through different circuit elements like resistors, inductors, and capacitors. Lastly, we’ll look at how resonance works in R, L, C circuits and how to determine the power in these circuits. This section will help you understand the heart of how AC circuits work!
